Would you Adam and Eve it.....it's here. All packed up, passport ready, and boots all ready to go. Can't believe after 6 months of preparing, training and panicking, that I am 2 hours away from departure :-)
Definately a mix of excitement and panic, but I am sooooo looking forward to the trek now.
With a bit of luck, there should be sufficient mobile network coverage throughout the climb to allow me to update this blog as we go, and I'll do my best to try and get some photo's on the way too.
Fund raising has been fairly successful, and I achieved my target last week, with a few more pledges still to come, so it's good time for Air Ambulance indeed.
Anyway, going for a couple of hours sleep before the drive to Gatwick, keep an eye on the blog, facebook and twitter for updates, and wish us all luck.,
